Who are we?

Leal Energie is a subsidiary of Leal Group, a centenarian diverse group of companies with an annual turnover of Rs 5.1 billions (€ 125.4 millions). The company designs and implements cost-effective and sustainable renewable energy solutions that may be coupled with efficient energy storage systems. As at today, we have completed over 1.8 MWp (153 sites)  in Mauritius and Rodrigues.

  • Prakash Ramiah

    COO

    Prakash has been managing the renewable energy cluster of the LEAL Group since its inception in early 2011 and previously spent 14 years promoting sales in the chemical and FMCG clusters of the group.  He holds an MBA from University of Surrey and Msc in Strategic Marketing from Cranfield University. He is a strong advocate of the development of community-based renewable energy programs across Mauritius and the regional islands of the Indian Ocean.

  • Sheila Ah-Pow

    Accountant

    Sheila Ah Pow joined Leal group in 2008 as Accounts officer, she has been working in the Admin and Accounts department for more than 10 years and now she works as accountant in Leal Energie Ltd.

  • Saganaden

    Electrical Engineer

    Saganaden has joined Leal Energie Ltd since 2019 as Electrical Engineer. He holds a degree in BEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering and is currently pursuing an MSc in Building Services Engineering. He is also a registered Electrical and Electronic Engineer since 2019 with the Council of Registered Engineers in Mauritius. His subjects of interests are renewable energy technologies, energy auditing and conservation measures amongst others.
